Music video terminology

 Concept: The most common form of music video is Performance / Narrative. This is a video that shows a performance be the band / artist / but also has a narrative within it.
Performance: A performance based video shows the artist /band /group performance throughout the song and sometimes can play throughout the whole video.
Narrative: This type of music video, rather than featuring the band performing the song, is presented as a visual narrative. These can be original stories, homages to a favourite TV show or movie, or anything else the performer or director comes up with. 
Narrative:

 Illustration: is the simplest and easiest concept to put around a music video because it gives a literal meaning and the words match the music video.

 Amplification: may use both performance and narrative and connotations of the meaning of the song.

 Disjuncture: is when a music video has no connection with the lyrics of the song.

How is Media language represented in the extract to display gander and sexuality in the 60's? 😈 In the extract multiple things are represented, mainly the sexuality difference and the established hierarchy of males. This is shown via the fact that Steed is only shown in low angle medium shots. This means that in the extract he is seen to be towering over the viewers further connoting to the hierarchy of males over females in the 1960's. He is later seen looking at her bum objectifying Mrs Peele. This later turn into a 1-2 shot of them having a rapier fight. This evokes lots of sexual chemistry between the co-workers before Steed is eventually pushed onto a chair. Steed the inappropriately smacks Mrs Peele on her backside. which further shows the fact that men only saw women as object to be looked at. The Lego Movie Games

Lego racing game The game that i played and tested was simplistic and easy to learn how to play. The point of the game was to drift your car sound the corners to get money. You only had to click the on-screen button to control the drift of the car and whether it crashed or whether you got round the corner and kept going. Through my experience you were able to get rewarded with a miss, a spin out, good, awesome and super. depending on how you ended up depended on what you got. Personally i felt it was aimed at kids from 5-11 years of age as the game was very easy to understand. 5 examples of film/video game releases: Spiderman Batman Warcraft Wreck it Ralph Star wars Companies often release tie-in games to try get more money out of the franchise and to give the film companies promotion.
